2010 Show String
Mal McGuire of
McGuire Training Stables in Midland, KY is doing his best to get Sarah and Beau up to speed. Sarah York, once again, is proudly sponsored by Walnut Hill Stables and will present the following horses at AQHA. ARHA, NRHA, NBHA and APHA shows around the midwest in 2010:

GOT EM A DOLL (Barbie) is a 2008 DR AQHA/APHA (solid bred) that was bred by Lesley and Dennis Orsund from Plymouth, Indiana. A multiple futurity winner, she will be conditioned and prepared by John Marano Quarter Horses. Barbie will be shown at the AQHA shows this year as well as APHA shows. Sarah and I hope to qualify Barbie for the AQHA and AYQHA World Shows. I hope she makes Lesley and Dennis proud! We are so glad to have her as part of our family. Grandma Lesley will be assisting Nancy in getting Barbie banded and groomed to a T for the APHA shows.

REBELS WRAPPED (Rebel) is a 1999 AQHA/ABRA/IBHA gelding that Sarah won the Reserve All-Around Youth World Champion at the 2007 ABRA World Show. She won a WC in Western Pleasure and Horsemanship and a RWC in Reining. He is my favorite mount around the farm and resident therapist. I swear you can tell him anything (and I do). Rebel is and will always be my heart horse.
PRIMETIME HOLLYWOOD (Beau) is a 1997 AQHA/IBHA/ABRA gelding that Sarah shows in Reining at AQHA and NRHA shows. Beau loves babies and is the farm's babysitter for the 2 yearlings. Now that the yearlings are becoming 2 year olds - they are heading off to the trainers we have hand picked for them. Poor Beau - guess he and Rebel will have to hang out together! Beau and Sarah will be competing at QH and CKRHA shows this year.

TRADITION WINDWALKER (T-Dubs) is a 1994 AQHA gelding that Clay purchased for me to learn with and show Reining at AQHA and NRHA shows. T-Dubs is a beautiful palomino who instantly buddied up with Beau. He and Beau have been great confidence builders for me. I am also going to start learning reined cow horse with Dubs and will be heading to Ohio for a few clinics. As you can see, Sarah rides all of our horses. I think T-Dubs prefers her over me so I am going to ride Beau for awhile and let T-Dubs continue with his love-affair with Sarah.
If you see us at the show, come sit and visit a little while. We love meeting new people, talking horses and absolutely love fellow horsemen and women alike!
