NORTH FORTY GEM (GEM) 1997 SORREL/OVERO APHA GELDING
Gem has traveled from Wyoming to hit the paint shows with Nancy and Tuff Man. Gem has his Superior in Halter and stood as a stallion in his younger years. Now that he is older and so much wiser, he would rather hang out as a gelding and attend shows and do more fun stuff with his human friends than make babies (at least that is what we are telling him). He is such a good boy and I want to thank Cara Cundall for entrusting this sweet guy to us.
Look for Gem and Nancy as they navigate their classes together.
TALKIN COOL (TUFF) 2011AQHA/APHA GELDING
TUFF MAN has quite a story to tell. He was born January 28, 2011 at Orsund Paint Horses in Plymouth, Indiana. He is by the Orsund's stallion GOT EM TALKIN x COOL RESOLUTION (their broodmare). Lesley called me all excited the night he was born. I was at a Bull Riding event in Marion, Indiana. I was so excited for Lesley as you could tell she was enthralled by this big boy. Unfortunately, Tuff Man lost his Mama at 1 1/2 days old. The very next morning, Clay, Sarah and I set off for Plymouth to bring Tuff Man home to our farm to take care of him 24x7. Lesley and Denny were exhausted and helped us load this guy while Sarah sat in the back of the trailer and covered him with her coat (we were in blizzard conditions here in Indiana) and straw. A quick stop by the vets and off he was to his new home. I have to say, Les and Denny entrusted this guy to us and we in turn entrusted him to Don Griffey of Griffey Equine Services to be fitted for the futurities. Tuff Man surpassed everyone's expectations and is a multiple futurity winner. He represented his sire very well and I hope his Mama is as proud of him as I am. He handled everything like a veteran show horse and is now back home in his stall at our barn and getting some R & R over the winter and then will be back at Don's for fitting for his yearling year. Les and Denny, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for this opportunity.

REBELS WRAPPED (Rebel) is a 1999 AQHA/ABRA/IBHA gelding that Sarah won the Reserve All-Around Youth World Champion at the 2007 ABRA World Show. She won a WC in Western Pleasure and Horsemanship and a RWC in Reining. He is my favorite mount around the farm and resident therapist. I swear you can tell him anything (and I do). Rebel is and will always be my heart horse. Welcome Home Rebel. I have missed you....
PRIMETIME HOLLYWOOD (Beau) is a 1997 AQHA/IBHA/ABRA gelding that Sarah shows in Reining at AQHA and NRHA shows. Beau loves babies and is the farm's babysitter. Beau will have his hands full this year raising our Einstein colt, Smarty aka Smarty Pants or Smart Slydun. Beau is a wonderful nanny and enjoys that role on the farm. Beau and Nancy will be competing at AQHA and NRHA shows this year.

TRADITION WINDWALKER (T-Dubs) is a 1994 AQHA gelding that has become a wonderful partner for Sarah. T-Dubs is a beautiful palomino who instantly buddied up with Beau. He and Beau have been great confidence builders for Nancy while Sarah keeps them tuned up and ready to compete.
WHIZNROUNDHOLLYWOOD (Trouble) is a 2008 AQHA gelding that Sarah will be competing on in 2011. He is by Who Whiz It and out of Clay's retired Reining mare, Hollywood Honey Bar. Trouble was started by Mal McGuire of Midway, KY.
If you see us at the show, come sit and visit a little while. We love meeting new people, talking horses and absolutely love fellow horsemen and women alike!
